Ira Drogin caught this 35 pound Cuda trolling a spoon from rod dangling from a trolling strap on the side of a “Windjammer” in the Bahamas. Boat had no net or gaff.   One of the crew opened the entrance door on the side of the ship.  He laid down on his belly and I brought the fish close to him.  He grabbed it by the tail and lifted it in. Crew asked me not to release it as they wanted the tail to hang from the bowsprit  for good luck and they could trade the Cuda back in Nassau for bottom fish.
