Susan Morgan finished out the year in style.  New Years Eve aboard the New Seaforth Susan caught 3 yellowtail and won the jackpot.  The fish were caught on dropper loops at about 300 feet with mackerel as bait.  The jackpot yellowtail was 38 pounds. SheI lost 1 yellow and learned an important lesson —keep your drag tight enough so that you can withstand the fish fighting, seals, and other anglers’ lines.  What a spectacular year this has been for the entire fishing industry in San Diego!!!
