Living here in the back country, there are a lot of kids that home school. Our church likes to organize events so that these kids can have events together. Knowing about the Captain Rollo Kids at Sea, a light went off. This would be perfect for these kids that live in the country and have little experience with ocean fishing.
Booking this trip with Captain Rollo was easy. All they wanted was the size of the group, preferred dates and the landing of choice. They gave us our date and put us aboard the Daily Double out of Point Loma Sportfishing. You probably know the drill before boarding a sport boat. Try doing this with 21 excited kids for an experience !
Everyone enjoyed the ride out to the fishing area off Point Loma. The kids saw plenty of sea gulls, pelicans, seals and a school of dolphins. And for eveyone of them, this was either their first time fishing or first time on the ocean.
The fishing was good that day. The captain put the boat on some hot spots for bottom fishing. You had to be there to see the look on faces with kid’s first fish. And I have to add how well the crew worked with these first timers. There were very few tangles and back lashes. Way to go, crew.
This trip was all inclusive. The boat, all tackle and a delicious boat cheese burger were provided.

You have  heard of all the good Captain Captain Rollo Kids at Sea does while

listening to Let’s Talk Hookup. If you have been on one of these trips and see first hand what this does for kids, it will make you a real believer in this organization. Next time you are at a show, event or a fund raiser for Captain Rollo, please think about a contribution. This is the future of our sport fishing. We just hooked a new group of kids on fishing.
